Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and analyze mechanical components and systems using advanced CAD/CAE tools.
  • Conduct detailed engineering calculations, simulations (FEA, CFD), and material selections to ensure product performance and reliability.
  • Develop and execute test plans for prototypes and production units, analyzing data and implementing design improvements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with electrical engineers, software developers, and project managers to integrate mechanical designs into larger systems.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including specifications, design reviews, and manufacturing instructions.
  • Identify and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues, proposing and implementing effective solutions.
  • Stay abreast of new technologies, industry trends, and best practices in mechanical engineering.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 4+ years of professional experience in mechanical design and analysis.
  • Proficiency with 3D CAD software (e.g., NX, SolidWorks, CATIA).
  • Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Experience with Siemens PLM software (e.g., Teamcenter, NX).
  • Familiarity with industrial automation, robotics, or energy systems.
  • Experience in design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA).
  • Project management experience.
