Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and analyze mechanical components and systems using advanced CAD/CAE tools.
- Conduct detailed engineering calculations, simulations (FEA, CFD), and material selections to ensure product performance and reliability.
- Develop and execute test plans for prototypes and production units, analyzing data and implementing design improvements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with electrical engineers, software developers, and project managers to integrate mechanical designs into larger systems.
- Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including specifications, design reviews, and manufacturing instructions.
- Identify and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues, proposing and implementing effective solutions.
- Stay abreast of new technologies, industry trends, and best practices in mechanical engineering.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 4+ years of professional experience in mechanical design and analysis.
- Proficiency with 3D CAD software (e.g., NX, SolidWorks, CATIA).
- Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software.
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Experience with Siemens PLM software (e.g., Teamcenter, NX).
- Familiarity with industrial automation, robotics, or energy systems.
- Experience in design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA).
- Project management experience.
