Key Responsibilities
- Perform installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Siemens equipment and systems at customer sites.
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and develop comprehensive service reports.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, including electrical, mechanical, and software-related problems.
- Interpret technical documentation, schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
- Provide technical support and training to customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
- Ensure all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Maintain accurate service records, inventory of parts, and complete necessary administrative tasks.
- Collaborate with internal engineering, sales, and support teams to address customer needs.
- Participate in on-call rotations and be available for emergency service requests as needed.
Required Skills
- Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Industrial Automation, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of experience as a Field Service Technician, preferably with industrial controls, automation, or building management systems.
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical manuals.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer service orientation.
- Willingness to travel locally and occasionally regionally.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
