Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy custom Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS (Sass/SCSS), and JavaScript (ES6+), ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Integrate and configure third-party applications, APIs, and complex middleware with Shopify stores to extend functionality and streamline operations.
- Implement custom features and functionalities beyond standard Shopify capabilities, leveraging Shopify's API, webhooks, and app development best practices.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and other engineering teams to translate wireframes and mockups into pixel-perfect and highly functional Shopify storefronts.
- Optimize Shopify stores for speed, scalability, SEO, and conversion rates, utilizing tools and techniques to enhance user experience.
- Conduct thorough code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure the highest standards of code quality, maintainability, and security.
- Troubleshoot and debug technical issues across the Shopify ecosystem, providing timely and effective resolutions.
- Actively participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and regular stakeholder communication.

Required Skills
- 4+ years of professional experience in software development, with a significant and demonstrable focus on Shopify e-commerce platforms.
- Expertise in Shopify theme development, including advanced proficiency with Liquid templating language.
- Strong command of front-end web technologies: HTML5, CSS3 (with preprocessors like Sass/SCSS), and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Extensive experience with Shopify's APIs (Storefront API, Admin API) and webhooks for data manipulation and integration.
- Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git, and collaborative development workflows.
- Solid understanding of e-commerce best practices, user experience (UX) principles, and responsive web design.
- Demonstrated experience with web performance optimization techniques for fast-loading and highly engaging online stores.
