Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert-level support to Shopify merchants via email, chat, and phone, addressing a wide range of inquiries and technical issues.
- Guide merchants through platform features, integrations, and best practices to help them achieve their business goals.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems efficiently, escalating complex issues to specialized teams when necessary.
- Document interactions and resolutions accurately in our CRM system.
- Stay up-to-date with new Shopify features, product updates, and e-commerce trends.
- Contribute to our knowledge base and internal documentation to improve support processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including product and engineering, to advocate for merchant needs and provide feedback.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and a positive, empathetic demeanor in all interactions.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer support, technical support, or e-commerce role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency with common web technologies and comfort learning new software.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- High-speed internet connection and a dedicated, quiet workspace.
- Demonstrated empathy and a customer-first mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the Shopify platform or other e-commerce platforms.
