Job Description
As a Shopify Project Coordinator at Walmart, you will play a crucial role in our e-commerce initiatives, specifically focusing on projects that leverage or integrate with the Shopify platform. While Walmart operates its own robust primary e-commerce ecosystem, we recognize the diverse needs of various brand partnerships, niche market strategies, and vendor collaborations that often utilize or require integration with Shopify. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables for Shopify-related e-commerce initiatives.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders involved in Shopify projects.
- Coordinate resources, including cross-functional teams (marketing, product, IT) and external vendors/partners.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project completion.
- Facilitate regular project meetings, status updates, and communication to keep all stakeholders informed.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including scope, requirements, user stories, and reports.
- Ensure projects adhere to quality standards, budget constraints, and established timelines.
- Support the integration of Shopify applications and tools into broader e-commerce strategies.
- Assist in the post-launch analysis and continuous improvement of Shopify-powered solutions.
Required Skills
- 2+ years of experience in project coordination or management, preferably in an e-commerce environment.
- Proficiency with the Shopify platform, including its admin panel, themes, apps, and basic operations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute project plans, track progress, and manage risks.
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, Jira, Microsoft Project).
- Understanding of e-commerce best practices and digital marketing principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
