Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products, answering inquiries, and providing product information.
- Operate cash registers and POS systems accurately, handling cash, credit, and debit transactions efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, shelves, and checkout areas.
- Stock shelves, display merchandise attractively, and ensure products are properly priced and labelled.
- Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies or low stock items to the supervisor.
- Handle customer complaints and returns with professionalism and a problem-solving approach.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and store security.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and operational goals.
- Promote special offers, promotions, and loyalty programs to customers.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic mathematical skills for cash handling and transactions
- Ability to operate a Point of Sale (POS) system
