Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of highly scalable, fault-tolerant backend services and APIs.
- Architect and implement robust, secure, and performant solutions leveraging a wide array of AWS technologies (e.g., EC2, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, RDS, Kinesis, SQS, SNS).
- Collaborate closely with product managers, front-end engineers, and other stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Drive operational excellence, including monitoring, alerting, troubleshooting, and on-call rotations to ensure high availability and reliability of services.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices for software quality, security, and maintainability.
- Contribute to the strategic technical roadmap and long-term vision for backend systems within AWS.
- Identify and resolve complex technical issues, optimize system performance, and ensure scalability for growing demands.
- Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Required Skills
- 7+ years of professional experience in software development with a strong focus on backend systems.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Python, Go, C#, or C++.
- Extensive experience designing and building highly scalable, distributed systems and microservices architectures.
- Deep understanding of cloud computing concepts and hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, RDS, API Gateway).
- Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and software engineering best practices.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for complex technical challenges.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

- Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Experience with serverless architectures and event-driven systems.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Proven track record of leading complex technical projects from inception to deployment.
