Job Description
LandWey Investment Limited is seeking a dedicated and vigilant Entry-Level Security Guard to join our growing team in Lekki, Lagos. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are new to the security field but possess a strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and a proactive attitude. As a Security Guard, you will be crucial in ensuring the safety and security of our properties, personnel, and assets. You will be the first point of contact for visitors and a vital presence in maintaining a secure and orderly environment. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
- Patrol premises regularly to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
- Circulate among visitors, patrons, or employees to preserve order and protect property.
- Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent the passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas.
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while interacting with staff and visitors.
- Ensure adherence to all company security policies and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a security-related role (even voluntary or unofficial capacity) is a plus
- Basic First Aid and CPR certification
- Knowledge of local security laws and regulations
- Proficiency in local languages (e.g., Yoruba) in addition to English
