Access Bank Plc, a leading financial institution in Africa, is seeking dedicated and vigilant Security Guards to join our team in Lawanson, Surulere. As a Security Guard, you will be an indispensable part of our commitment to ensuring the safety and security of our personnel, customers, and assets. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure and orderly environment within our premises. Your daily duties will involve monitoring surveillance equipment, conducting regular patrols, controlling access points, and responding swiftly and appropriately to any security incidents or emergencies. You will be the first line of defense, requiring keen observation skills and the ability to act decisively under pressure. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
- Monitor and operate surveillance equipment (CCTV, alarms) and access control systems.
- Respond to alarms, investigate disturbances, and report suspicious activities.
- Control access to the building, verify identity of visitors, and issue passes.
- Escort unauthorized persons off the property.
- Protect company property and personnel by maintaining a high visibility presence.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities.
- Enforce company security policies and procedures.
- Provide assistance to customers and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
- Collaborate with emergency services (police, fire department) when necessary.
