Job Description

Are you an experienced Scrum Master passionate about fostering high-performing teams and driving agile excellence? Trihydro Corporation is seeking a dedicated and pragmatic Scrum Master to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective) effectively and efficiently for one or more teams.
  • Coach development teams in self-organization and cross-functionality, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and ownership.
  • Help the Product Owner manage the product backlog, ensuring clarity, transparency, and readiness for development.
  • Remove impediments to the team's progress, escalating when necessary, and protecting the team from external distractions.
  • Promote and educate on Scrum and Agile principles throughout the organization, acting as a change agent for agile adoption.
  • Track and communicate team metrics, progress, and performance to stakeholders in a transparent manner.
  • Encourage collaboration and communication within the team and with external stakeholders, fostering a positive team dynamic.
  • Support the adoption of best practices in software development and project management, staying current with industry trends.
  • Champion a culture of transparency, inspection, and adaptation, driving continuous learning and improvement.
  • Facilitate conflict resolution and empower teams to solve problems independently.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Scrum Master in a software development or IT environment.
  • Strong understanding and practical application of Scrum and Agile methodologies and principles.
  • Proficiency in facilitating meetings and fostering productive discussions in a remote setting, utilizing digital collaboration tools.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills, with the ability to influence without authority.
  • Ability to resolve conflicts, manage impediments, and drive continuous improvement within and across teams.
  • Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello, Asana).
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse, geographically dispersed teams and stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on practical solutions and delivering value.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM I/II), or equivalent advanced certification.
  • Experience with scaled Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS, Nexus) is a plus.
  • Background in environmental consulting, engineering, or a related technical field is beneficial.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams on complex, enterprise-level projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
