Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments.
- Act as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries, providing information and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Identify customer needs and effectively cross-sell Scotiabank products and services, making appropriate referrals to other banking specialists.
- Maintain an accurate cash drawer, balancing at the start and end of each shift in accordance with bank policies.
- Adhere strictly to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including anti-money laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) guidelines.
- Assist customers with the use of ATM and other self-service banking options.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment, assisting colleagues as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all security procedures to protect both customers and the bank's assets.
- Educate customers on various banking products and digital services to enhance their banking experience.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation related to daily transactions and branch operations.
