Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging Physics or Chemistry lessons to secondary school students, adhering to the national curriculum and international best practices.
- Design and implement practical experiments and demonstrations to enhance theoretical understanding.
- Assess student progress through various methods, including quizzes, tests, assignments, and practical evaluations.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and parents regarding academic performance and development.
- Maintain a safe, orderly, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Collaborate with fellow faculty members to develop interdisciplinary projects and improve teaching methodologies.
- Participate in extracurricular activities, school events, and professional development sessions.
- Counsel and mentor students, fostering their personal, social, and academic growth.
- Prepare students for internal and external examinations (e.g., WAEC, NECO, IGCSE, A-Levels).
- Stay updated with current educational trends and advancements in science education.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Physics, Chemistry, or Science Education.
- Proven experience teaching Physics or Chemistry at the secondary school level.
- Strong subject matter expertise in either Physics or Chemistry (or both).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in developing effective lesson plans and instructional materials.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students from diverse backgrounds.
- Demonstrated classroom management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
