Job Description
We are seeking an exceptional and visionary School Proprietor to lead and further develop Mary Slessor Academy in Calabar. The Proprietor will be responsible for the overall strategic direction, operational management, and financial health of the academy. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the strategic vision and long-term goals for the academy, ensuring alignment with educational best practices and business objectives.
- Oversee all aspects of school operations, including curriculum development, academic standards, student welfare, and extracurricular activities.
- Manage the financial health of the academy, including budget planning, resource allocation, fee structures, and financial reporting to ensure sustainability and profitability.
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate the academic and administrative staff, fostering a culture of excellence, professional development, and accountability.
- Drive marketing and enrollment strategies to attract and retain students, enhancing the school's reputation and visibility in the community.
- Ensure compliance with all local and national educational regulations, health and safety standards, and administrative requirements.
- Cultivate strong relationships with parents, community leaders, educational bodies, and other stakeholders to support the school's mission.
- Oversee the maintenance and development of school facilities and resources, ensuring a safe, conducive, and modern learning environment.
- Identify and implement innovative educational technologies and programs to keep the academy at the forefront of private education.
Required Skills
