Job Description
Are you a seasoned UX Designer with a passion for transforming complex enterprise software into intuitive and delightful user experiences? Adobe is seeking an innovative and dedicated Salesforce UX Designer to join our exceptional team in San Diego, California. In this critical hybrid role, you will be the driving force behind the user experience for our internal Salesforce ecosystem, which powers our global sales, marketing, and customer support operations. Your mission will be to deeply understand the needs of our diverse internal users, from sales representatives to service agents, and translate those insights into elegant, efficient, and user-friendly designs for our Salesforce applications. This involves everything from conceptualizing new features and optimizing existing workflows to ensuring seamless integration across various Salesforce clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud) and custom-built solutions on the Lightning Platform. You will champion a user-centered design philosophy, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, business analysts, and Salesforce administrators. Your expertise will be crucial in defining user journeys, creating detailed wireframes and prototypes, conducting usability testing, and iterating on designs based on data and feedback. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to identify user needs, pain points, and opportunities within the Salesforce platform.
- Translate user research findings, business requirements, and technical constraints into compelling user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes for Salesforce applications.
- Design intuitive and effective user interfaces for Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and custom applications built on the Lightning Platform, ensuring consistency and ease of use.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to define design strategy, roadmap, and advocate for user-centered design principles throughout the product lifecycle.
- Ensure all designs adhere to Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS) guidelines and best practices while maintaining Adobe's distinctive brand identity and design language.
- Iterate on designs based on qualitative and quantitative feedback from users, stakeholders, and usability testing sessions, driving continuous improvement.
- Clearly present design concepts, rationale, and user research insights to various audiences, including technical and non-technical stakeholders, fostering alignment and understanding.
- Stay abreast of the latest UX design trends, Salesforce platform updates, and industry best practices to inform and elevate our design solutions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes, tools, and standards within the design team and across the organization.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (4+ years) as a UX Designer, Product Designer, or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing enterprise-level and Salesforce-specific design projects.
- Expertise in leading UX design software such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar tools for wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity mockups.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, limitations, and the Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS) principles.
- Extensive experience with user research methodologies, information architecture, interaction design, visual design, and usability testing.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale and concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment, influencing and building consensus.
- A Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce configuration and customization (e.g., creating custom objects, fields, validation rules, flows).
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and working within a fast-paced, iterative environment.
- Experience designing for large-scale enterprise applications with complex data structures.
- Certification in Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce Platform App Builder.
- Master's degree in a relevant design or technology field.
