Are you a seasoned Salesforce professional with a passion for transforming businesses through innovative technology solutions? Slalom Boston is seeking a talented and driven Salesforce Consultant to join our dynamic team. This is an urgent hiring need, reflecting the significant demand for our expertise in the Salesforce ecosystem. In this role, you will be at the forefront of client engagements, partnering with organizations to understand their unique challenges and architecting robust Salesforce solutions that drive efficiency, enhance customer experiences, and achieve strategic objectives.
As a Salesforce Consultant, you will leverage your deep understanding of the Salesforce platform to design, configure, and implement tailored solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and other key Salesforce products. You’ll engage directly with stakeholders at all levels, from initial discovery and requirements gathering to solution design, prototyping, testing, and deployment. Our consultants act as trusted advisors, guiding clients through complex transformations and ensuring the successful adoption of new systems. You will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical capabilities, translating complex requirements into actionable solutions and providing expert guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead client discovery sessions to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and processes.
- Design and architect scalable, high-performance Salesforce solutions, leveraging best practices for configuration and customization.
- Configure Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and other modules to meet client needs.
- Develop detailed functional specifications, use cases, and technical design documents.
- Conduct workshops, presentations, and training sessions for client stakeholders.
- Manage testing efforts, including developing test plans, executing test cases, and managing UAT cycles.
- Provide expert guidance on Salesforce capabilities, limitations, and potential solutions.
- Collaborate with technical teams, including developers and administrators, to ensure successful solution delivery.
- Stay current with Salesforce releases, new features, and best practices.
- Support change management activities and drive user adoption.
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and practice development within Slalom.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Consultant or similar role.
- Proven ability to lead discovery workshops and gather detailed business requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in designing, configuring, and implementing Salesforce solutions.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, data models, and security.
- At least one Salesforce Administrator certification (Administrator, Advanced Administrator).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a client-facing environment and build strong relationships.
- Experience with Agile project methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant or Service Cloud Consultant certification.
- Experience with other Salesforce clouds (Marketing Cloud, Field Service Lightning, CPQ).
- Basic understanding of Apex, Visualforce, or Lightning Web Components.
- Prior experience working for a consulting firm.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
