Key Responsibilities
- Actively promote and sell Access Bank's retail products and services, including accounts, loans, cards, and digital banking solutions, to new and existing customers.
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) set by the branch management.
- Identify customer needs through effective questioning and listening, and recommend appropriate banking solutions.
- Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities and stay informed about competitor activities within the Uyo region.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and activity plans to track progress and strategize future efforts.
- Participate in marketing campaigns and promotional activities, both in-branch and externally, to increase brand visibility and product uptake.
- Ensure compliance with all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements in all sales activities.
- Collaborate with other branch staff to ensure seamless customer service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Provide financial advisory services to customers on product features, benefits, and suitability.
- Process customer applications accurately and efficiently, ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant.
Required Skills
- Proven track record in sales, preferably within the banking, financial services, or retail sector.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with a proactive and problem-solving approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Goal-oriented with a strong drive to meet and exceed targets.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong understanding of retail banking products and services.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Banking & Finance, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Prior experience with CRM software or banking core applications.
- Familiarity with the local Uyo market and customer base.
- Ability to speak local languages (e.g., Ibibio, Efik) is an added advantage.
- Certifications in sales or customer relationship management.
