Job Description

Are you a highly motivated and results-driven sales professional with a passion for connecting products with people? Bralima is seeking a dynamic Sales Executive to join our vibrant team in Bukavu, South Kivu Province. In this crucial role, you will be at the forefront of our market presence, responsible for driving sales growth across both Business-to-Business (B2B) and Retail channels. This involves actively engaging with current and prospective clients, from local distributors, hotels, restaurants, and bars to supermarkets and small retail outlets, to expand our market share and ensure our iconic beverage portfolio is readily available and strategically positioned. You will leverage your excellent negotiation skills and deep understanding of consumer goods distribution to forge strong client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the unique dynamics of the Bukavu market. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for both B2B and retail segments.
  • Identify, prospect, and acquire new B2B clients (e.g., wholesalers, hotels, restaurants, bars) and retail partners (e.g., supermarkets, convenience stores).
  • Maintain and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Conduct regular market visits to assess market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs, providing valuable feedback to the sales management team.
  • Present and promote Bralima’s full product portfolio effectively, highlighting features, benefits, and promotional offers.
  • Negotiate sales contracts, terms, and conditions with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process, including order taking, coordinating with logistics for timely delivery, and ensuring prompt payment collection.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analyses.
  • Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and promotional events as required.
  • Ensure brand visibility and optimal product placement within all assigned retail outlets.

Required Skills

  • Proven track record of success in sales, particularly within the FMCG or beverage industry.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in French and Swahili (both verbal and written).
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within Bukavu and surrounding areas.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Customer-focused approach with a problem-solving mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Bukavu market and distribution channels.
  • Previous experience working with international brands or large distribution networks.
