Key Responsibilities
- Actively engage with guests, greeting them warmly and offering assistance with product selection, location, and information.
- Maintain a pristine and organized sales floor, including merchandising products according to company standards, restocking shelves, and ensuring cleanliness.
- Process guest transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale (POS) systems, handling cash, credit, and other payment methods.
- Develop a strong understanding of current promotions, product features, and inventory to effectively answer guest inquiries and provide informed recommendations.
- Assist with fitting room organization, managing returns, and resolving guest concerns with a positive and problem-solving attitude.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a high level of store readiness.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and asset protection protocols.
- Support inventory management activities, including receiving, processing, and moving merchandise.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive store environment for both guests and team members.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- A strong passion for customer service and creating positive guest experiences
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and fast-paced retail environment
- Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions and counting change
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift merchandise (up to 40 lbs) for extended periods
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail, customer service, or sales role
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems
