Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet all customers upon entry and offer proactive assistance with product selection and location.
  • Efficiently and accurately process customer transactions using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system, managing cash, credit, and loyalty program redemptions.
  • Maintain high standards of store cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising, ensuring shelves are stocked and displays are appealing.
  • Actively promote CVS Health's loyalty programs, special offers, and services to enhance customer engagement and drive sales.
  • Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and handle returns or exchanges with professionalism and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Assist with inventory management tasks, including receiving, unpacking, pricing, and replenishing merchandise on the sales floor.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines, including age-restricted sales protocols.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve daily operational goals and contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Support the Assistant Manager and Store Manager in various tasks to ensure smooth store operations.

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in a customer service or retail sales capacity.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Proficiency in operating a POS system and handling cash accurately.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as per retail operational needs.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform repetitive motions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare-related retail environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to upsell or cross-sell products and services.
  • Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) to better serve our diverse customer base in North Miami.
