Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently unload and process incoming deliveries, accurately checking against invoices.
- Stock shelves, rotate products, and maintain proper inventory levels according to planograms.
- Ensure all products are correctly priced and clearly displayed.
- Operate manual and electric pallet jacks safely and effectively (training provided).
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the store, including aisles, backrooms, and loading docks.
- Assist in preparing the store for daily opening, ensuring all departments are ready for customer service.
- Adhere strictly to all company health and safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve night shift targets and objectives.
- Identify and report any damaged or expired products.
- Contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
Required Skills
- Ability to work overnight shifts consistently, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in tasks.
- Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills to handle inventory and stock counts.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail, warehouse, or stockroom environment.
- Familiarity with operating pallet jacks or other material handling equipment.
- Experience working night shifts.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
