Key Responsibilities
- Accurately sort incoming and outgoing mail, parcels, and packages according to established procedures and postal codes.
- Operate mail sorting equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
- Identify and report any damaged or misdirected mail to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety guidelines and protocols.
- Lift, push, and pull mail containers, bags, and trays, sometimes weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Scan mail items using handheld devices to track their progress.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and meet sorting deadlines.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and security regulations.
