As a Room Service Attendant, you will be the face of our in-room dining service, playing a crucial role in ensuring our guests enjoy a seamless and delightful culinary experience from the comfort of their rooms. Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and process guest room service orders accurately and efficiently, either by phone or through the POS system.
  • Prepare trays and carts with ordered food and beverages, ensuring proper presentation and cleanliness.
  • Deliver food and beverage orders to guest rooms promptly and courteously, adhering to service standards.
  • Set up and present meals in guest rooms, ensuring all items are accounted for and presented aesthetically.
  • Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints professionally and resolve issues to guest satisfaction.
  • Process payments for room service orders, including cash, credit card, and charge-to-room transactions.
  • Clear used trays and dishes from guest rooms and hallways in a timely manner.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the room service pantry and equipment.
  • Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and other departments to ensure seamless guest service.

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a genuine desire to assist guests.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good physical stamina, capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling heavy trays and carts.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in order taking and delivery.
  • Basic math skills for handling payments and making change.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience (6+ months) in a hotel room service, restaurant, or food service role.
  • Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems.
  • Knowledge of various food and beverage items, including basic wine pairings.
  • Ability to speak a second language is a plus.
