Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Mechanical Engineer to join our innovative team in North Beach, Miami Beach. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components, sub-systems, and complete systems for high-performance applications.
- Perform detailed engineering analyses including stress, thermal, vibration, and fluid dynamics using advanced simulation tools (e.g., FEA, CFD).
- Create comprehensive technical specifications, engineering drawings, and documentation in accordance with company and industry standards.
- Conduct experimental testing, data acquisition, and analysis to validate designs and verify performance.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., manufacturing, supply chain, quality) to ensure design for manufacturability, assembly, and serviceability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues encountered during design, development, and operational phases.
- Participate in design reviews, FMEA, and other risk assessment activities to ensure robust and reliable products.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, materials, and engineering methodologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant regulatory requirements, safety standards, and environmental considerations.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in mechanical design and analysis.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, Siemens NX).
- Demonstrated experience with FEA/CFD software (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus, Star-CCM+).
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles including thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, material science, and machine design.
- Proven ability to analyze complex engineering problems and develop practical solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and team collaboration.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience within the aerospace, marine, or power generation industries.
- Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) standards.
- Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems.
- Project management experience or leadership roles in engineering projects.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or actively working towards one.
