Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and specialized analytical tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using various laboratory equipment (e.g., XRF, ICP-OES, particle size analyzers).
  • Prepare samples for analysis, ensuring proper labeling, storage, and disposal in accordance with safety and environmental guidelines.
  • Accurately record, interpret, and report test results, maintaining detailed documentation and laboratory notebooks.
  • Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, quality management systems (e.g., ISO 17025), and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Assist in the development and validation of new analytical methods and procedures.
  • Participate in laboratory audits, inventory management, and general lab housekeeping.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, scientists, and production personnel.

Required Skills

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an industrial or research laboratory setting.
  • Proficiency in operating and maintaining standard laboratory equipment.
  • Strong understanding of laboratory safety practices and quality control principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform precise measurements and analyses.
  • Proficient in data entry, analysis, and report generation using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) software.
