Key Responsibilities
- Execute daily drilling, completion, and workover operations as directed by the Driller and Senior Supervisors.
- Operate and maintain a variety of drilling equipment, tools, and machinery safely and efficiently.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspection, and cleaning of rig equipment and work areas.
- Assist in the running and pulling of drilling strings, casing, and tubing.
- Handle and store drilling fluids, chemicals, and materials in compliance with safety standards.
- Participate actively in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and emergency drills.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, procedures, and environmental regulations (HSE).
- Report any unsafe conditions, incidents, or near-misses promptly to supervisors.
- Work effectively as part of a diverse team, fostering a culture of safety and collaboration.
- Contribute to the overall cleanliness and organization of the rig and living quarters.
- Assist with cargo handling, loading, and offloading operations as required.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience in offshore drilling operations (e.g., Roustabout, Roughneck, Floorman).
- Proven understanding of drilling operations, equipment, and associated safety practices.
- Valid Offshore Safety Permit (OSP) or equivalent (e.g., BOSIET, HUET, OLF approved medical certificate).
- Physical fitness and ability to work long hours in demanding offshore conditions.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions meticulously and work independently when required.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and adherence to HSE policies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical certification or vocational training in Mechanical, Electrical, or Petroleum Technology.
- Experience with specific drilling equipment or systems (e.g., top drives, iron roughnecks).
- Forklift operation certification or experience.
- Confined Space Entry and Working at Heights certification.
- Previous experience working with international drilling contractors or major E&P companies.
- Basic knowledge of well control principles.
