Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently receive, unload, and store deliveries, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company procedures.
- Replenish shelves, displays, and promotional areas with products, maintaining optimal stock levels and visual merchandising standards.
- Assist in managing inventory, including accurate stock rotation, checking expiry dates, and minimising waste.
- Ensure the entire store environment remains clean, tidy, and safe for both customers and colleagues, including regular clearing of aisles and promptly addressing spills.
- Provide friendly, proactive, and helpful support to customers, directing them to products or assisting with general enquiries when needed.
- Support colleagues with various tasks across different departments as required, fostering a collaborative and cohesive team environment.
- Operate store equipment safely and efficiently, such as pallet trucks and cleaning machinery, strictly following all safety guidelines and training.
- Contribute to the security of the store by being vigilant and promptly reporting any suspicious activities or potential shrinkage.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations, food hygiene standards, and age-restricted sales policies.
- Participate in store opening and closing procedures, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and to the required standard.
