Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalized, one-on-one styling consultations to customers, understanding their needs, preferences, and body types.
- Offer expert advice on current fashion trends, garment fit, fabric care, and how to build versatile wardrobes.
- Actively engage with customers, building rapport and fostering long-term relationships to cultivate a loyal client base.
- Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets by effectively merchandising products and upselling/cross-selling.
- Maintain an immaculate and inspiring store environment, ensuring visual merchandising standards are consistently met.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving new shipments, pricing, tagging, and organizing stockrooms.
- Process transactions accurately using the POS system and handle customer returns or exchanges professionally.
- Stay informed about new arrivals, promotions, and product knowledge, sharing insights with both customers and colleagues.
- Participate in store events, styling workshops, and promotional activities as required.
- Contribute to the overall positive atmosphere of the boutique, working collaboratively with the team.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 18 months of experience in a retail sales or styling role, preferably within fashion or luxury retail.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and providing exceptional customer service.
- Strong understanding of current fashion trends, styling techniques, and garment construction.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse clientele.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
- Proficiency in using POS systems and basic computer applications.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as per retail demands.
- A genuine passion for fashion and a proactive, results-driven attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- A degree or certification in Fashion Merchandising, Retail Management, or a related field.
- Experience with personal shopping or clienteling software.
- Knowledge of local fashion market trends and customer demographics in Manchester.
