Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily retail operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient resource allocation within an assigned department.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of retail associates, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Actively participate in and support the onboarding and integration of new hires, specifically those recruited through overseas channels.
- Monitor sales performance, identify opportunities for growth, and implement strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Ensure exceptional customer service standards are met consistently, resolving customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and merchandising products to optimize sales and minimize waste.
- Maintain high standards of store cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising.
- Ensure strict adherence to all company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
- Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and facilitate training and development for team members.
- Collaborate with other supervisors and management to achieve overall store objectives.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of progressive retail management or supervisory experience.
- Demonstrated leadership ability with a track record of motivating and developing teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to connect with diverse individuals.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Proficiency in inventory management and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Solid understanding of retail operations, sales metrics, and customer service principles.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
- Experience working with or managing multicultural teams.
