Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unpack, and process incoming merchandise efficiently and accurately.
- Stock shelves, display cases, and end-caps with new products, following merchandising guidelines and planograms.
- Ensure products are correctly labeled, priced, and faced for optimal customer visibility.
- Rotate stock to ensure freshness and minimize waste, particularly for perishable goods where applicable.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe backroom and sales floor, including removing empty boxes and debris.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock audits as required.
- Operate manual and powered equipment safely (e.g., pallet jacks) after proper training.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to achieve store goals.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Capable of standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic communication skills to interact with colleagues.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a retail or warehouse environment (even if brief).
