Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service, assisting them with product location and recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring shelves are well-stocked and merchandise is neatly arranged.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently and accurately process cash, credit, and debit transactions.
- Assist with receiving, unpacking, and stocking new inventory, ensuring proper pricing and product rotation.
- Answer customer inquiries about products, ingredients, and store policies with knowledge and courtesy.
- Monitor product freshness and expiry dates, removing outdated items as necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and operational goals.
- Handle customer returns and exchanges in a polite and professional manner.
- Assist with merchandising displays and promotions to enhance the shopping experience.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene standards within the store.
