Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Handle cash, credit/debit card, and other payment methods, ensuring proper reconciliation.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and assisting with product location.
- Promote Canadian Tire's loyalty programs, such as Triangle Rewards, and explain their benefits to customers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting checkout area.
- Assist with price checks, product scanning, and bagging merchandise as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and customer service.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive and efficient shopping experience for all customers.
