Key Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome and seat guests in a timely and professional manner.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and offer informed recommendations on food and beverage options.
- Accurately take food and drink orders and communicate them efficiently to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and elegantly, ensuring correct presentation and temperature.
- Anticipate and respond to guests' needs and requests, ensuring their complete satisfaction.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and card transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, tables, and service stations.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other front-of-house team members.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards and regulations.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including setting up and clearing down the restaurant.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably within hospitality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
