Key Responsibilities
- Operate dishwashing equipment efficiently to clean all dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils.
- Ensure all washed items are properly stored in their designated areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing station and kitchen area, including floors, sinks, and countertops.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when required.
- Handle waste disposal, including taking out trash and recycling, ensuring proper segregation.
- Monitor dishwashing detergent and sanitizing solution levels, refilling as needed.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the kitchen manager promptly.
- Perform general cleaning duties in the kitchen and back-of-house areas as assigned.
