Key Responsibilities

  • Operate dishwashing equipment efficiently and safely to ensure all dishes, cutlery, pots, pans, and cooking utensils are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
  • Maintain a clean and organized wash area, including floors, sinks, and dish machines, following all health and safety regulations.
  • Assist with basic kitchen tasks such as peeling, chopping, and organizing ingredients as needed.
  • Properly store clean dishes, glassware, and other equipment in designated areas.
  • Remove trash and recycling, and maintain cleanliness of waste areas.
  • Monitor and report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.
  • Adhere strictly to all food safety and hygiene standards established by the restaurant and local regulations.
  • Collaborate with cooks, chefs, and other kitchen staff to ensure a smooth flow of operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by kitchen management.
