Key Responsibilities
- Operate dishwashing equipment efficiently and safely to ensure all dishes, cutlery, pots, pans, and cooking utensils are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
- Maintain a clean and organized wash area, including floors, sinks, and dish machines, following all health and safety regulations.
- Assist with basic kitchen tasks such as peeling, chopping, and organizing ingredients as needed.
- Properly store clean dishes, glassware, and other equipment in designated areas.
- Remove trash and recycling, and maintain cleanliness of waste areas.
- Monitor and report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety and hygiene standards established by the restaurant and local regulations.
- Collaborate with cooks, chefs, and other kitchen staff to ensure a smooth flow of operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by kitchen management.
