Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Restaurant Cashier to join our team at The Place Restaurant in Victoria Island, Lagos. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling all cash and credit card transactions, balancing the cash register at the end of each shift, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. Key Responsibilities
- Handling cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Balancing the cash register at the end of each shift and preparing daily reports.
- Providing exceptional customer service, resolving customer issues with professionalism and courtesy.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked cashier station.
- Following all cash handling procedures and security protocols.
- Assisting with other front-of-house duties as needed, such as taking orders, seating guests, and answering phones.
- Maintaining a positive and professional attitude at all times.
