Job Description
We are actively seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and proactive Full-Time Restaurant Attendant to join The Nest Kennesaw family. As a Restaurant Attendant, you will serve as one of the welcoming faces of our establishment, playing a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an outstanding dining experience from the moment they step through our doors until they leave. Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist them with seating arrangements and menu presentation when necessary.
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness and organization of the entire dining room, including tables, chairs, floors, service stations, and restrooms, adhering to the highest sanitation standards.
- Bus and clear tables promptly and efficiently after guests depart, ensuring they are thoroughly sanitized and ready for the next set of diners without delay.
- Reset tables with clean linens, silverware, and glassware according to established standards and presentation guidelines.
- Assist servers by delivering food and beverages to tables accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Refill water glasses, coffee, and other beverages as requested by guests or directed by servers, always anticipating needs.
- Stock and replenish service stations with essential supplies such as clean dishes, glassware, cutlery, napkins, and condiments throughout your shift.
- Assist in washing dishes, glassware, and kitchen utensils as needed, especially during peak operational hours to support kitchen efficiency.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with kitchen staff, servers, and management to ensure seamless service flow and address any operational needs.
- Respond to guest inquiries and concerns professionally and courteously, escalating any complex issues to management for immediate resolution.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety and sanitation guidelines and regulations set forth by local health authorities and company policy.
- Perform opening and closing duties as assigned, including the comprehensive setup and breakdown of dining areas and other operational tasks.
- Support and foster a positive, collaborative, and respectful team environment amongst all staff members.
