Job Description

CPI Hotels is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Reservation Agent to join our dynamic team in Prague. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for many of our guests, playing a crucial part in their journey even before they arrive. Your primary responsibility will be to manage incoming reservation requests, whether by phone, email, or online platforms, converting inquiries into confirmed bookings with efficiency and a warm, welcoming demeanor. You will provide detailed information about our diverse hotel portfolio, room types, amenities, and special offers, ensuring guests find the perfect accommodation to suit their needs. Key Responsibilities
- Handle all incoming reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online channels promptly and professionally.
- Provide detailed information about hotel facilities, services, and special promotions to potential guests.
- Process new reservations, modifications, and cancellations accurately using the hotel's reservation system.
- Upsell and cross-sell hotel services and amenities to maximize revenue and enhance guest experience.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date reservation records and guest profiles.
- Process payments and manage billing inquiries efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with other departments (Front Office, Sales, Revenue Management) to ensure seamless guest service.
- Resolve guest issues and complaints related to reservations with empathy and professionalism.
- Stay informed about hotel occupancy, rates, and availability.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding reservations and guest service.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a customer service or reservations role, preferably within hospitality (minimum 1 year).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Czech.
- Strong computer proficiency, including experience with reservation software (e.g., Opera, Fidelio) and MS Office Suite.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to guest satisfaction.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Fluency in an additional European language (e.g., German, Russian, French).
- Knowledge of local attractions and cultural events in Prague and the Czech Republic.
- Prior experience with revenue management principles.
- Certificate or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field.
