Key Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to understand their travel preferences, budgets, and desired experiences.
- Research, recommend, and book various travel components including flights, accommodations, cruises, tours, car rentals, and activities.
- Develop customized itineraries that cater to individual client needs and preferences.
- Provide expert advice on destinations, travel insurance, visa requirements, and health regulations.
- Process bookings, payments, and cancellations accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel industry trends, supplier promotions, and destination information.
- Resolve client issues or concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster repeat business and referrals.
- Utilize CRM and booking systems effectively to manage client information and bookings.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service, sales, or hospitality.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and navigating online booking platforms.
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently in a remote setting.
- A genuine passion for travel and helping others plan their trips.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a travel agent or travel planner.
- Knowledge of GDS (Global Distribution System) such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.
- Experience with CRM software.
