Key Responsibilities
- Proactively monitor security camera feeds, alarm systems, and access control platforms for multiple client sites.
- Identify and analyze suspicious activities, security breaches, and emergency situations in real-time.
- Initiate and coordinate appropriate response protocols, including dispatching on-site security personnel or contacting emergency services (police, fire, EMS).
- Communicate effectively and precisely with clients, team members, and external agencies during incidents.
- Maintain detailed and accurate incident logs, reports, and daily activity summaries.
- Operate and troubleshoot various security software and hardware systems remotely.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies, client-specific protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to clients regarding security matters.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with security technologies and best practices.
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a security, surveillance, or command center environment.
- Proficiency with computer systems and ability to quickly learn new software applications.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong observational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and maintain focus in a remote work setting.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Criminology, Law Enforcement, or a related field.
- Valid Security Guard Licence (or willingness to obtain one upon hire).
- Experience with specific security monitoring software (e.g., Genetec, Milestone, Avigilon).
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Bilingualism (English and French) is considered an asset.
