Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, curate, and maintain a diverse portfolio of engaging music playlists across various genres and themes for major streaming platforms.

  • Research and identify emerging artists, trends, and tracks that align with UMG's strategic priorities and audience interests.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with A&R, Marketing, Digital Strategy, and Data Analytics teams to align playlist strategies with broader campaign goals.
  • Stay abreast of music industry trends, competitor activities, and evolutions in streaming platform algorithms and features.
  • Provide regular reports on playlist performance, offering actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure all curated content adheres to copyright regulations, licensing agreements, and UMG's content guidelines.
  • Contribute to the strategic planning and execution of music discovery initiatives.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to a collaborative and innovative remote work environment.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of professional experience in music curation, programming, or related roles within the music industry or digital media.
  • Demonstrated deep knowledge and passion for a wide range of music genres, artists, and industry trends.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency with major digital streaming platforms (e.g., Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube Music) and their curation tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively in a remote setting.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
