We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team at Kaiser Permanente. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance complex financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Analyze financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying key drivers of variances and recommending corrective actions.
  • Participate in the annual budgeting and long-range planning processes.
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and operational improvements.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within the finance function.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Present findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to non-finance audiences.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, economic indicators, and regulatory changes impacting the healthcare finance landscape.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, financial planning, or corporate finance.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial modeling, macros).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting complex financial information.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work setting.
  • Experience with large-scale ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday).
  • Solid understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and financial metrics.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field.
