Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remote Finance Manager to join our dynamic Accounting Division. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting division's financial reporting and analysis functions.
  • Lead the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain robust financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and key drivers of financial performance.
  • Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support business growth and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards (GAAP), regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
  • Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Identify and implement process improvements within the accounting division to enhance efficiency and data integrity.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop a team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Collaborate with internal audit, external auditors, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and compliance.
  • Manage cash flow, liquidity, and capital management activities as required.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Proven expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial regulations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial modeling) and financial management software.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team in a remote or hybrid environment.
  • High level of integrity and ethical conduct.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree (MBA, MS in Finance or Accounting).
  • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation.
  • Experience with large ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday Financials).
  • Prior experience in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
