Are you a seasoned instructional designer with a passion for creating engaging and effective online learning experiences? Frontier Airlines is seeking a talented Remote Content Developer – Online Training to join our innovative Learning & Development team. In this pivotal remote role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge online training programs for our diverse workforce, spanning pilots, flight attendants, ground operations, and corporate personnel. From regulatory compliance modules to advanced skill development courses, your work will directly impact the safety, efficiency, and professional growth of our entire team.
As a Remote Content Developer, you will leverage your expertise in adult learning theories, instructional design methodologies, and e-learning authoring tools to transform complex information into clear, concise, and interactive digital content. You’ll collaborate closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) from various departments to understand specific training needs and translate them into compelling learning objectives and engaging course materials. This includes developing storyboards, scripts, visual assets, simulations, and assessments that resonate with a global audience and adhere to both industry standards and Frontier’s brand guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver high-quality, engaging online learning modules and courses using instructional design principles.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) across various departments to identify training needs and translate complex topics into clear learning objectives and content.
- Create a variety of multimedia assets including videos, audio, graphics, animations, and interactive elements to enhance learning experiences.
- Utilize e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, Adobe Captivate) to build interactive and responsive online courses.
- Develop assessment strategies and tools to measure learning effectiveness and provide constructive feedback.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project scopes and quality standards.
- Ensure all content aligns with Frontier Airlines' brand guidelines, compliance regulations, and accessibility standards.
- Continuously research and integrate new e-learning technologies and instructional strategies to improve training effectiveness.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in instructional design and content development for online learning environments.
- Proficiency with industry-standard e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, Adobe Captivate).
- Strong understanding of adult learning theories and instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative team environment.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) administration and content publishing.
- Proficiency in multimedia development and editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, video editing tools).
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field.
- Experience developing training content for the aviation industry or other highly regulated environments.
- Knowledge of SCORM and xAPI standards.
