Job Description

De-Santiago Milan Hotel & Suites is seeking an enthusiastic, highly organized, and dedicated Receptionist to join our esteemed Front Desk team. Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly welcome guests upon their arrival and manage check-in procedures efficiently and accurately.
  • Handle check-out processes, including bill settlement and guest feedback collection.
  • Manage all incoming calls, direct them appropriately, and provide information to callers.
  • Process guest reservations, modifications, and cancellations with attention to detail.
  • Address guest inquiries, provide accurate information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.
  • Resolve guest complaints and issues promptly, professionally, and to the guest's satisfaction.
  • Maintain an organized and tidy front desk area, ensuring a professional appearance.
  • Perform administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and managing correspondence.
  • Handle cash, credit card transactions, and maintain accurate daily financial records.
  • Communicate effectively with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest service (e.g., Housekeeping, F&B).
  • Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office Suite) and hotel management software.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a calm approach to stressful situations.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A diploma or certificate in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field.
  • Prior experience as a Hotel Receptionist or Front Desk Agent.
  • Familiarity with property management systems (PMS) such as Opera or Fidelio.
  • Ability to speak multiple languages is a significant advantage.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
