Key Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome and greet all visitors, clients, and staff with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Efficiently manage a multi-line telephone system, directing calls to the appropriate departments or individuals.
- Respond to general inquiries and provide accurate information about the bank's services or direct them to relevant personnel.
- Maintain a tidy, organized, and presentable reception area at all times.
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, packages, and deliveries promptly.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing meeting room bookings.
- Provide administrative support to various departments, including data entry, filing, and document preparation.
- Monitor and manage office supplies inventory, placing orders when necessary.
- Ensure security protocols are followed by monitoring visitor access and issuing visitor badges.
- Handle customer complaints or issues with professionalism and escalate when necessary.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and documents.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Receptionist, Front Desk Representative, or similar role, preferably within the banking or corporate sector.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
- Exceptional customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
Preferred Qualifications
- OND/HND/BSc in Business Administration, Secretarial Studies, or a related field.
- Familiarity with banking operations and financial terminology.
- Experience with office equipment like printers, scanners, and PABX systems.
- Ability to speak multiple Nigerian languages is an added advantage.
