Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival, performing check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
- Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
- Process payments, handle cash, and maintain accurate billing records.
- Answer incoming phone calls, respond to emails, and provide information about hotel services and local attractions.
- Address guest inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
- Maintain a tidy and organized front desk area, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Collaborate effectively with other hotel departments (housekeeping, F&B, security) to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Provide exceptional customer service, anticipating guest needs and offering personalized assistance.
- Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in using hotel management software (PMS) or similar booking systems.
- Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively in a busy environment.

- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office Suite, email).

Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Previous experience with Opera PMS or other industry-standard Property Management Systems.
- Fluency in additional local languages (e.g., Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa) is a significant plus.
- Certification in customer service or hospitality.
- Previous experience in a hotel front desk role.
