Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing detailed cost estimations and budget breakdowns for various construction projects.
- Learn to measure and quantify materials and labor requirements from drawings and specifications.
- Participate in the preparation of tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
- Support the contract administration process, including evaluating variations and claims.
- Assist in monitoring project costs and preparing financial reports.
- Gain experience in site visits to assess work progress and confirm measurements.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure cost control.
- Undergo structured training modules and mentorship to develop core quantity surveying competencies.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards, ensuring project compliance.
Required Skills
- Fluent in Portuguese and English (written and spoken)
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges
- Basic understanding of construction principles (advantageous but not strictly required for this training role)
