Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine quality control checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods according to established specifications and procedures.
- Perform sensory evaluations of products to ensure consistency in taste, aroma, and appearance.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring calibration and accurate recording of results.
- Document all quality control data meticulously, preparing reports on findings and identifying any deviations from quality standards.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify root causes of quality issues and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
- Assist in the development and implementation of new quality assurance procedures and protocols.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), ISO standards, and relevant food safety regulations.
- Participate in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and process efficiency.
- Undergo and successfully complete all provided training modules and practical sessions related to quality assurance and control.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Food Science, Industrial Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office Suite).
- A strong desire to learn and develop a career in quality assurance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior exposure (e.g., internship, attachment) in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS) like ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, or HACCP principles.
- Basic understanding of statistical process control (SPC).
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
