Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Maintenance Technicians with a variety of repair and maintenance tasks across residential and commercial properties.
  • Perform general upkeep, minor repairs, and preventative maintenance on property infrastructure, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
  • Respond to and address tenant service requests in a timely and professional manner, escalating complex issues as needed.
  • Conduct routine inspections of properties to identify and report maintenance needs or safety hazards.
  • Assist with property turnovers, including unit cleaning, painting, minor repairs, and ensuring units are ready for new tenants.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of common areas, grounds, and maintenance shops.
  • Operate various hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
  • Support snow removal and landscaping duties as required during different seasons.
  • Document work performed and materials used accurately.

Required Skills

  • Basic knowledge of general maintenance and repair techniques (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry).
  • Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools safely.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical fitness to perform manual labour, lift heavy objects, and work in various weather conditions.
  • Valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Driver's License and a clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum 6 months of experience in property maintenance, general labour, or a related trade.
