Key Responsibilities
- Assist Maintenance Technicians with a variety of repair and maintenance tasks across residential and commercial properties.
- Perform general upkeep, minor repairs, and preventative maintenance on property infrastructure, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
- Respond to and address tenant service requests in a timely and professional manner, escalating complex issues as needed.
- Conduct routine inspections of properties to identify and report maintenance needs or safety hazards.
- Assist with property turnovers, including unit cleaning, painting, minor repairs, and ensuring units are ready for new tenants.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of common areas, grounds, and maintenance shops.
- Operate various hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Support snow removal and landscaping duties as required during different seasons.
- Document work performed and materials used accurately.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of general maintenance and repair techniques (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry).
- Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools safely.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical fitness to perform manual labour, lift heavy objects, and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
