As Project Manager, you will be instrumental in driving projects from conception through to completion, ensuring alignment with Regenda Homes’ strategic objectives and our commitment to community betterment. Your expertise will span the full project lifecycle, from developing comprehensive project plans and financial models to monitoring progress, mitigating risks, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance. You will be responsible for managing multiple stakeholders, including internal teams, external contractors, local authorities, and community representatives, fostering collaborative relationships to achieve project goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and closing of complex projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop detailed project plans, scope definitions, resource allocation schedules, and robust financial forecasts.
  • Manage project budgets, monitor expenditure, track financial performance, and ensure cost-effective resource utilization.
  • Oversee all aspects of project delivery, including procurement, contract management, risk assessment, and quality assurance.
  • Identify, mitigate, and manage project risks and issues, developing contingency plans as necessary.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project teams, stakeholders, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports, including progress, financial updates, and key performance indicators, to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure all projects comply with relevant legislative requirements, industry standards, and Regenda Homes' internal policies.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and methodologies within the organisation.
  • Champion the health, safety, and welfare of all personnel involved in project delivery.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 4 years of proven project management experience, ideally within the social housing, property development, or construction sectors.
  • Demonstrable expertise in project planning, budget management, and financial oversight.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile) and tools.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Familiarity with UK building regulations, health & safety legislation, and procurement processes.
  • Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle for site visits.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A recognised Project Management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, APM PMQ).
  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience working with housing associations or public sector organisations.
  • Knowledge of local government and community engagement practices.
